Know Your Rights as a Pedestrian

GLP Attorneys has represented hundreds of pedestrians throughout Washington State in personal injury claims and litigation.  If you are a pedestrian struck by a car in Washington, did you know that you can use the car owner’s Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance to cover your medical expenses and wage loss up to the limits of that driver’s policy, regardless of fault?  Did you know that may also use your own car’s PIP insurance coverage, if available, once you exhaust the initial PIP coverage that belongs to the driver?  You of course also may be able to bring an additional claim against the car driver under their liability policy.  Pedestrian injury cases can be complex, and it is a good idea to consult with a qualified attorney right away.
