$7 million wrongful death lawsuit filed in fatal motorcycle crash

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) – The widow of the man who was killed in a May motorcycle crash has filed a $3 million lawsuit against the driver, his passenger, and a local bar.

Lisa Benedict is suing for a total amount of $7 million after the crash that killed her husband, Bob Benedict, who was riding his motorcycle on Lee Highway.

The lawsuit alleges that Henry Cofrancesco, 33, was drunk when he left Images Nightclub, turned onto Lee Highway and struck Benedict.
