$7.25 million settlement after man fell through ceiling

A settlement has been reached after a man fell through a glass ceiling at the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia on November 26, 2012. Mr. Guthula, an Energy Efficient Engineer, was inspecting lighting fixtures when he stepped onto a glass floor and fell 38 feet to the ground below. He was directed to the area by a security guard; there were no warning signs regarding the glass floor.

He spent 3 months in the hospital and had $1.6 million in medical bills.
