$11M verdict for teen injured in trampoline park lawsuit

In the largest injury verdict ever filed against a trampoline park operator, the Houston based Cosmic Jump has been found grossly negligent after a teen was seriously injured after he fell through a torn trampoline onto a concrete floor.

The teen feel about five feet, hitting his head on a concrete floor, causing traumatic brain injury and bleeding. The teen must undergo physical and speech therapy in hopes of recovering from his traumatic fall.

A jury awarded the teen and his family $5.485 million in actual damages and $6 million in punitive damages. Charlie Gustin, who represents the teen and his family stated “these trampoline places have been growing at an exponential rate, and the number of injuries are astounding.”
