Properly transporting your dog

The Center for Pet Safety (with Subaru sponsorship) has been pioneering pet crash-safety testing since 2011. Their findings show that many people are not transporting their dogs correctly. In the case of an accident, if a dog is not properly restrained, this can cause danger to humans and the dog. During a crash test, only the Sleepypod Clickit Utility harness which attaches directly to the lap and shoulder belt with auxiliary side straps mounted to the vehicle’s LATCH child-seat hooks, safely retained the dog test dummy.
