Google’s driverless cars

Google’s driverless cars are running into problems – cars with actual drivers. Researchers in the field say that one of the biggest challenges facing automated cars is blending them into a world in which humans don’t behave by the book. Google’s test cars are programmed to follow the law, while human drivers don’t always follow the rules of the road. Humans and machines, as data has found, are an imperfect mix.
