Steve Franklin is an Attorney at Law with the South Sound Offices of Graham Lundberg Peschel. He began his legal career as an attorney in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. As a JAG officer he successfully advocated for his clients as a criminal defense attorney at trial and at administrative proceedings. Steve also performed a tour of duty overseas in Sicily, Italy, where he served as the lawyer for the commanding officer of a major naval air station. Steve continues to serve as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves.

Since leaving active duty in 2005, Steve was in private practice in Kitsap County emphasizing personal injury, where he represents people injured by the negligence of others. Steve has obtained outstanding results for clients at settlement, arbitration, and trial. Steve also enjoys providing legal services to the military community, and actively volunteers with Kitsap Legal Service where he assists with divorce cases.

Steve is a graduate of Kentwood High School, Kent, Washington. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University, Steve obtained his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law.

In his free time Steve enjoys preparing “epic” meals and mixing “unbelievable” concoctions while spending time with family and friends. Steve enjoys all things related to the outdoors, sports, and travel.
