Bruce is an Associate Attorney at GLP Attorneys. In this capacity, Mr. Cyra primarily represents victims of motor vehicle collisions, those with pedestrian and bicycle injuries, premises liability injuries, common-carrier injuries, and victims of dog attacks. His commitment to clients’ rights is evident in his ability to identify with victims’ situations and to present their story in the most persuasive manner. Together with the team at GLP Attorneys, the focus on assisting victims who have been injured by the negligence of others gives the firm a wealth of experience in handling the wide range of issues faced by our clients.

Mr. Cyra’s background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications from Western Washington University, and a successful career in video production and television news photography. This career took Bruce to California, Alaska, Washington and included national and overseas assignments. While working in broadcasting, Bruce returned to school and earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law. He has practiced law in Nevada from 2000-2003 and again from 2006-2012, concentrating on litigation of construction defect cases on behalf of homeowners and community associations, and assisting with legislative and consumer awareness. From 2003 to 2006, he practiced in Seattle litigating construction defect and personal injury cases. In 2013, Bruce added his years of experience in civil litigation to the GLP Attorneys team.

When not working Bruce enjoys the outdoors with his family, competes and supports various athletic events, is a national age group USATF champion, and is co-race director of local running events. Bruce also supports his community as President of a 501(c)(3) corporation that produces annual local events, raising money and awareness to support active, healthy lifestyles and public school athletic teams.

Bruce is admitted to practice law in Washington, and is currently inactive in Nevada.

“Thanks to everyone at GLP Attorneys both in the Seattle and Port Orchard offices. Bruce Cyra took the time to meet me at my home and to explain what (GLP) had to offer.  Then with the help of Jim Gooding and the staff of both the Port Orchard and Seattle offices, an equitable settlement was reached.  Thank you to all!”
