Case Details
Injured Construction WorkersGraham Lundberg & Peschel handles large and complicated construction accident cases. Attorneys Cydney Campbell Webster and John D. Webber have held general contractors and subcontractors accountable for not maintaining a safe workplace environment, and have worked to improve construction site safety through their efforts on behalf of their clients.
GLP successfully obtained a one million dollar settlement for a construction worker who was injured on the first day on the job when a large truss beam fell off of the framing because it was not secured before other beams were being placed into the framing.
GLP also successfully obtained a settlement of over one million dollars for an construction worker who was seriously injured when he was struck by a concrete pump hose. Our client was a acting as a "hose man" and directing the flow of concrete from a concrete pump truck, boom arm and hose into pre-made wall forms. The subcontractor operating the concrete pump truck negligently allowed a blockage or air to enter the concrete pump and hose when the pump truck was moved. When the pump truck operator re-started the concrete pump he failed to adequately clear the line of the blockage and moved the boom arm and hose to our client. The blockage caused pressure in the pump to mount, and when the blockage blew out, it caused the concrete hose to violently whip, striking our client and throwing him off of scaffolding and six feet down onto a concrete slab.
GLP has the experience to handle complex and serious construction injury cases, and is dedicated to making construction sites safer for all workers.
